Best Show of last 30 days is FRAMPTON Casino Show at Imperial Palace. Not to long. Only played 2 songs from Frampton Comes Alive. Great covers of Black Hole Sun and While My Guitar Gently Weeps. New material was a re-invented Frampton as JAZZ FUSION in the vein of John McLaughlin, Al Di Meola et el.
Best Show of last 10 years is BLUE CHEER including 2012 show 6 months before Dickie Peterson died at age 64. Paul Whaley on drums still in original lineup. Andrew Duck McDonald eclipsing Leigh Stephens on guitar. Still totally OUT OF FOCUS and on the PARTRIDGE FARM while facing THE HUNTER and calling out DOCTOR PLEASE from the SUMMERTIME BLUES these 3 guys were still heavier and more powerful than recent tours by Black Sabbath, Ozzy, St. Vitus, and a bunch of other bands that are still around.
